Greetings Readers. I want to introduce you to Core Physiotherapy. It is a new private physiotherapy clinic based in Batu Bersurat (address below) and if you are looking for treatment or rehabilitation products, check them out. "What's Physiotherapy?" Think of it as "physical therapy", meaning if you have a physical ache, pain, weakness, stiffness, injury, etc the physiotherapist would be able to offer evidence based treatment techniques, and prescribe stretches and exercises to assist. Physiotherapists can help with things like headaches, backaches, knee pains, ankle sprains, forearm tenderness, neck pains, stiff shoulders and "pins and needles". "Physios" are also the folks doctors and specialists refer patients to post-operation for things like total hip replacements and broken limbs. Physiotherapy is a four year degree course in most countries and you can rest assured that the techniques applied are based on clinical evidence. To read up more about Physiotherapy, see here.
According to Core Physiotherapy, they are a "one stop shop for all your rehabilitation needs". The following physiotherapy services are available: Pain Relief Therapy, Ultrasound Therapy, Interferential Therapy, Traction, Heat Therapy, Cryotherapy, Sports Taping, Clinical Pilates, Falls Prevention, etc. They also stock a good range of assistive equipment such as wheelchairs, crutches, back supports, exercise bands, physio balls, etc.
