The Icon Design Store

Greetings Readers! Last weekend I visited the new Icon Design Store in Batu Bersurat. If you are a fan of modern, contemporary and designer classic furniture, you should check this place out! They have "a good mix of contemporary and mid century modern designer classic furniture inspired by famous designers...at very affordable prices". According to their website, the "whole company was founded on our love for beautifully designed furnishings. Our passion goes much further than merely something that looks the part after all furniture is as much about functionality and practicality as it is aesthetics".

I spent a good 30 or so minutes in their store and got to know one of the owner-manager there, Gert. Gert said thay many of their products can be customised according to individual preferences and that they can also offer interior decorating advice (for people like me who don't have an eye for these sort of things!).

I should also point out that they have a pretty neat online store where you can browse through most of their products at your own convenience.
