The Brunei Hotel: New Choices Menu

Ahh, food. Glorious food. Food is the great connector of people and cultures. Food is the levelling ground for discussion. Food is part of the foreplay before intimacy. Food brings people together. Food is central to family time and family moments all across the world. Food fills the silence between conversations. The Brunei Hotel knows this so well and they are currently revamping their menu at Choices Restaurant. In fact, they have proudly announced weekly changes to their menu to include both Western and Asian favourites.

They said "These are some of the exciting twists to old favourites. Our truly delicious freshly baked chicken pies, oozing with creamy tarragon sauce and there is our very own creation of baked boneless chicken drumsticks, stuffed with beef bacon and coriander. Risottos, traditional home style casseroles, moussakas are just some of the upcoming dishes that will be included...For those with a sweet tooth, our pastry corner is now filled to the brim with freshly baked brownies, homemade banana orange slices, chocolate cream cheese cupcakes, carrot cake, lemon meringue cupcakes, salted caramel tarts and the selection changes daily."

Additionally, their "new Date Puddings on the Ala Carte menu is served warm, with butterscotch sauce and a topping of caramelised dates. The crepes are homemade served with freshly squeezed oranges made into a rich buttery sauce, and served with ice cream."

The Brunei Hotel's weekly menu will be anchored by Chef Dian and Chef Fadzilah. Lunch and Dinner Specials will be set at B$11.80, inclusive of a cordial drink, side salad and a cut fruits. Don't forget to also ask about their special Coffee Break set at B$5.00, inclusive of a cup of tea or coffee with a selection of 2 petit fours or slices or cupcakes.

From 31st October 2011 to 6th November 2011, the weekly menu will feature Roast Chicken with Potato Au Gratin, Lamb Shank with Round of Mash, Butter Chicken served with Garlic Fried Rice, and Chili Squid, Fish Fillet & Prawns served with Garlic Fried Rice.
